R James didn’t plan on being a writer, nor did he think he’d be a published Author. But when his marriage started to fall apart, he began writing poetry to help him get through that difficult time.
Even though R James had no thoughts of writing, it makes sense because growing up he loved music. It started at a young age when he received a record player, one year, for Christmas. And his mother giving him her old 45’s from when she was a teenager in the 1960’s. After Graduating high school in 1987, R James had a few jobs as a DJ. Winning a competition in the winter of 1988.
In the summer of 2005 R James moved to the west coast of Florida. Before completing a couple writing courses, he passed a paralegal home course.
